Anne,

I just wanted to let you know that I recently evaluated one of your students and her dog during a Canine Good Citizen test. Kelly and her Golden Retriever, Casey, stood out from the crowd during today's CGC test with a flawless performance and great attitude. Out of 10 dogs that passed the test today, their performance was truly the most impressive of all. I had to ask where they had received their training. Kelly told me she trains with you and I wanted to let you know that I was very impressed with the results of your training program. Keep up the good work!

"Dear Anne,

Thank you so very much for your wonderful work training our dog, "Ninja." He is a distracted pre-teen! It was such a blessing to have halted his training so that he could calm down and catch up on his "homework." You were so honorable to have completed his lessons. You're talented and kind and clearly fond of the dogs. Thank you again for your help and training lessons. We really couldn't have done this without you!

Sincerely,
Melanie, Michel

"Anne,

Just wanted to say thanks for teaching a great class. It was educational, helpful, and so much fun. Gretta had a wonderful time, and has learned so much (important for a 120 lb. dog). After only four classes, we see such a difference in her interraction with other dogs and people.

All the best,
Jim and Kathy Hales

"Dear Anne and Russ,

On Sunday, February 23, 2003, First Presbyterian Church sponsored an open house to honor my retirement. It was good to see you there to give us your best wishes for our future. During that celebration event, Jane and I received many kind expressions of appreciation and goodwill. We can never adequately communicate our heartfelt gratitude for so much love and grace which came our way.

One of the most memorable gifts was puppy "Bonnie Blue" from the church's children. I cringed at first for I could only think at the moment of how much care a little dog can demand. I was so wrong in that feeling for Bonnie Blue has captured our hearts and love. She has become a pure delight and a constant "face-licking" home companion. She has become our "baby" with privileges that I don't come close to receiving. We are happy she is in our lives.

Your endowment of "puppy school" couldn't have been a more thoughtful and practical gift. I thought I knew dogs and how to make them do what we want; that is, until I attended Anne's class. Anne, you are a master teacher with an uncommon understanding of what makes dogs respond and be trained. It is easy to see how much you love dogs, a trait that is more Godly than most realize. More important, you know how to train a dog's masters, a reality we so needed with Bonnie Blue.

Jane and I have diligently exercised the training techniques you have given us so far. We are amazed at how much our young puppy responds to your training insights. I hope that we can continue to be as bright as our "little companion" .We can see that a well trained dog will offer even greater pleasure for us.

We both express our heartfelt thanks for your insightful gift to us. We can never look at Bonnie Blue again without thinking of you. You are special people and we are glad to have you as friends.

Sincerely,
Don Smith"
